Petr Cech Reveals Who the Most Respected Arsenal Player Is

I See How Much Rosicky is Respected at Arsenal - Petr Cech

Petr Cech has stated that he is confident his fellow compatriot, Tomas Rosicky will remain at Arsenal despite some challenges.

Rosicky who is now 35 years old complained about being left out of games last season, expressing disappointment over Arsene Wenger's decisions to frequently bench him even when everyone knew he was fit and capable.

However, Cech who left Stamford Bridge for Arsenal last summer says the 'Little Mozat' as he is fondly called by fans will not depart the Emirates Stadium. He feels the Czech international will have a positive impact in the team by the time he returns from injury.

“I believe he will stay in Arsenal,” he said ahead of this week’s international fixtures. “He is a very important part of the team due to his experience and what he can bring into the game.

“It was hard for me to judge his position in the past when I was in Chelsea. But now I can see how much his teammates respect him.

“He is one of the longest serving, he has his position in the squad. Everyone knows that whenever he plays, he will help the team. Tomas is continuing with his convalescence really well. He will be able to jump straight into the team relatively soon.”
