Arsenal and Chelsea to Get Transfer Bans From FIFA

This unpleasant news coming from Spanish source, AS is one that will sadden every fan of the two clubs involved. According to them, Arsenal and Chelsea are on the verge of being banned from transfer activities.

From their claims, the football-governing body, FIFA will mete out sanctions to the two London club for failing to abide by set down transfer rules in the course of undergoing transfer business. Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid and other top European clubs will also be slapped with bans.

The actual offences committed by Arsenal and Chelsea were not stated i.e. the players they signed illegally were not mentioned, so we are still on the dark on this. They however revealed it will be a two-year ban.

Barcelona was the top club who recently got such punishment after failing to follow due process in the acquisition of the services of players below the age of eighteen. They will soon be free and able to resume carrying out transfer deals.

As for Arsenal and Chelsea, one will hope that they sign enough stars by January as no one knows when the ban will be activated. If it will begin this January then that's a big blow to them.
