Arsenal are reportedly leading the race to snatch up Juventus defender Daniele Rugani from Italy.
The Serie A giants are said to be prepared to cash in on the 21-year-old by the time the winter transfer window is flung open in January.
According to Calciomercato, Rugani has resolved to getting a new challenge elsewhere since he has not been able to seal a regular spot in the team of the Turin outfit.
To capitalise on this development, Arsene Wenger will now make an official bid for the centre-back but will not have it all smooth and easy as teams like Fiorentina and Napoli are also said to be interested in the acquisition of the Lucca-born star.
