Arsenal Star, Mesut Ozil Set to Miss Two Games

Arsenal midfielder, Mesut Ozil has surprisingly been dropped and will not participate in his side's next two games which will be coming up soon.

The German international was not included in the squad that will represent his national team when they face France and the Netherlands in separate friendly games.

Joachim Low, the coach of the side gave his reason for making such a move as being that there is no winter break in England and as such would not want the assist king to get too stressed ahead of the Euro 2016 tournament.

"We start with the preparations for France now, and we will test a few formations," said Low.

"But I also have the players' strain in my mind. The season is long and some foreign leagues are even without a mid-season break.

"That's also the reason why I didn't call up Mesut Ozil and Toni Kroos this time. We want to test some alternatives on their positions."

The international break will kick-start as soon as Arsenal are done with the North-London derby on Sunday. As we know, it is a period Arsenal supporters do not like as many of their players usually return injured, so the news of Ozil being dropped would be highly welcomed by them. There are too many injuries already and they cannot afford to get more.
