Injury Updates on Sanchez, Cazorla, Koscielny

The injury list at Arsenal keeps getting longer like the river Nile as three more players have occupied slots on the injury table. Laurent Koscielny, Alexis Sanchez and Santi Cazorla are the latest casualties.

Before Arsenal's 1-1 draw with Norwich City on Sunday evening, there were already seven sidelined players and with the recent development, ten is now the number. This will mean that the Gunners will be without a host of first team players in their end-of-the-year-games.

Alexis Sanchez was replaced in the second half as a result of a hamstring injury and according to Arsene Wenger the Chilean is likely to miss our next Premier League game and the UCL clash against Olympiakos. Cazorla (knee) faces the same predicament.

As for Laurent Koscielny who was not even able to complete the first fifteen minutes of that game, there is positive news. The defender should resume training before Sunderland visit the Emirates Stadium this weekend. What he has is just a knock.

By the time the medical team are done with the scans we will know how serious these injuries are and the absence span of the injured stars. Until then, I say: 'Have a nice day.'
