Sunday is the day when Arsenal will lock horns with their rivals, Tottenham Hotspur in the North-London derby and ahead of the clash, we have taken a critical look at the available stars and picked out the strongest possible lineup to be fielded on that day.
Being that there are a lot of players who are out injured, we will have a side weaker than the one we began the season with. Hector Bellerin for instance is still sidelined and will likely be replaced at right-back by Mathieu Debuchy who still lacks match fitness.
Ospina is back so should fall to the bench while Olivier Giroud as the only available striker should start upfront. Below is the predicted team in full.
Goalkeeper: Petr Cech
Defenders:Â Mathieu Debuchy, Gabriel Paulista, Per Mertesacker and Nacho Monreal
Midfielders: Midfield: Santi Cazorla, Francis Coquelin, Joel Campbell, Mesut Özil and Alexis Sánchez
Striker::Â Olivier Giroud.
Substitutes: David Ospina, Calum Chambers, Kieran Gibbs, Laurent Koscielny, Mathieu Flamini, Alex Iwobi and Jeff Reine-Adelaide.

Where Gabriel mate?
ReplyDeleteOh! Can't believe I left him out of thee team. He should have gotten a substitute slot at least.
DeleteOne thing I am not so sure of right now is whether it is Per who will start as a result of his experience in North-London derbies or Gabriel.
Also having that feeling Koscielny will drop to the bench for Gabriel since he is just recovering from an injury. What do you think?
