Versatile Midfielder Desperate to Make Sensational Arsenal Return

Good morning Gunners! It's Sunday, it's Matchday, it's the North-London derby, it's Arsenal v Tottenham. As we await kick-off, there is this news from one of our own who is out there trying to make things better.

Jon Toral says he is relishing his time away from Arsenal and hopes to use that period to become someone who would make a great impact in the Gunners first team.

The 20-year-old youngster is currently on loan at Birminghman City and has impressed at the St.Andrews so far. He was a member of the Arsenal squad that made the pre-season tour to Singapore and it was after that he completed a loan switch to Birmingham, having previously had a similar spell at Brentford.

In an interview with the Birmingham Mail, the young prospect said that his major aim right now is gaining lots of experience which will later help him impact on the Arsenal first team when he finally breaks in.

"I feel settled, especially with the games at the beginning," he said.

"My teammates and staff members have made me feel very welcome and now I feel real settled.

"I’m here to work hard to go back to Arsenal and see if I’ve got a chance there, but you never know in the future what can happen."

Toral signed for Arsenal from Barcelona in the summer of 2011. He is a versatile central midfielder who has the ability to play a holding role and even as a winger.. The lad is a talent who will no doubt find his way into the first team soon just like Hector Bellerin who signed alongside him four years back did last season.
