Arsene Wenger has revealed that he will be doing some business in January to add to his squad which looks short at the moment.
Ahead of their clash with Manchester City at the Emirates Stadium tonight, the Frenchman has stated the need to do something so fat in order to make Arsenal remain in tough contention for the title.
He admitted that the festive period will be a little tough for them since they have a lot of injuries but vowed to see that something is done quickly.
Even though he refused to mention names of players he is interested in, he confirmed that there is a shortlist of players he would like to recruit when the winter transfer window flings open officially.
“Yes, we are short and the number of games we have to play in January are very important,” he told BeIN Sport as quoted by Metro.
“God knows how we will come out of the Christmas period, with a lot of demand on the physical front so we need to do something.
“I would love to give you names, downstairs on the bar with a coffee but not in front of your camera.”
