Photo: Mesut Ozil Sends Out Boxing Day Message to Arsenal Fans

Arsenal midfielder, Mesut Ozil on Christmas Day sent out an advance Boxing Day message to all fans of the club he currently plays for.

The German international has been in super-duper form since the season kicked off, providing assists when need be. He even went as far as breaking assist records set many years ago and as we speak, he is the highest in both the Premier League and across Europe's top five leagues this season. He has scooped a total of fifteen assists in the league so far.

Ahead of Arsenal's trip to Saint Mary's, the Assist King and 2014 World Cup winner took to his official Facebook page to inform the fans of the team's wish to give them a befitting gift on Boxing Day -- a win against Southampton.

His post goes thus: "I turned the hotel room upside down but could’t find any boxes for you, ‪#‎ Gunners‬! Hopefully we have a gift for our fans tomorrow. #‎Boxingday‬ ‪#‎SFCvAFC‬ ‪#‎AFC‬

Attached to the post was a picture which he took standing close to the bed in his hotel room. Below is the picture.

Arsenal who are now in second place on the league table will be out to grab all three points by the time they meet with the Saints later today.
