As we anticicipate the commencement of January transfer activities, there is this news which is coming from Spain and according to the update, Arsenal have already completed a transfer.
Spanish media outlet, El Confidencial have revealed via their publication that the Gunners have completed a deal for Saul Niguez of Atletico Madrid. It even stated that the 21-year-old already packed his bags, ready for a move to London.
However, something tragic happened and that delayed the move. One of his teammates got injured and he had to stay back to cover up for him.
This is not just a speculation as we have been informed that his agent, Jorge Mendes also confirmed that his client has finalised proceedings for a January switch in his quest for first team football.
At the moment, we do not know what will happen to the deal but if all necessary paperwork had been done as reported, then we should still expect to see the talented midfielder in North-London soon.
