This morning, we have here a prediction coming from the stables of anti-Arsenal pundit Michael Owen. Just like he did against Southampton, even though we lost, this one also predicts a victory for Arsenal by the time we play Newcastle United on Saturday.
Arsenal will be hosting Newcastle United at their home ground on January 2 and the former Liverpoool striker is of the view that we will begin 2016 on the positive front by defeating The Magpies.
Owen wrote in his column for Bet Victor: “The Gunners have won eight successive Premier League games against the Magpies and it is hard to see past another home win for the league leaders who have dropped just two points out of their last 21 at The Emirates.”
The Gunners finished the previous year on top of the Premier League table after getting back to winning ways to beat Bournemouth 2-0. They now have another chance to keep their titles hopes alive a day after New Year.
