Arsenal Make £10.25million Bid for Striker

Arsenal have had a transfer attempt dealt a heavy blow as the other party is not yet set for such business.

The Gunners reportedly made a bid believed to be in the region of £10.25million for a Roma player named Umar Sadiq.

Information from the source revealed that Arsenal have been monitoring his progress since the beginning of the season but their hopes of getting him have hit the rock.

Sadiq is a striker who is on loan at Roma from Spezia. He has scored twice in two Serie A appearances this term and also has sixteen goals in sixteen appearances for the club's second team.

Roma have the option to permanently sign the 19-year-old Nigerian youngster at the end of the season.
