Arsenal Playmaker Threatens to Leave in the Summer

Arsenal Playmaker Threatens to Leave in the Summer

The transfer window isn't even open yet but the rumour mill has begun its usual task of giving us updates, some nice while others are ugly. This one you are about to read is a shocking one.

From what we learnt from Don Balon yesterday, Mesut Ozil is considering his future at Arsenal and will likely leave in the summer.

It was reported that the German international is fed up with the Gunners' incessant failings and as such wants to head to a place where success is guaranteed. It was even reported that he said he will depart the Emirates Stadium if Arsene Wenger remains the manager at the North-London club.

He is now being linked with a move back to Real Madrid, something the Santiago Bernabeu outfit denied and the latest club being tipped to be making a move is Barcelona.

This news will be of great shock to fans who are aware of the player's quality. Ozil no doubt has been the best in the team so far this season so losing him will be a big blow to Arsenal.
