The most recent signing in the Arsenal senior team has sent out his appreciation to the fans for voting him as the club's Player of the Month for March.
Mohamed Elneny has featured regularly for the Gunners since joining them from FC Basel in January and his exceptional displays have not gone unnoticed by supporters who in turn made him emerge the holder of the March version of the club award.
The Egyptian midfielder put his name in the club's goal book when he hit an impressive strike against Barcelona in the Champions League.
He was able to shove aside Danny Welbeck and Mesut Ozil to end up winner of the Player of the Month award.
Elneny felt honoured, so he headed to Instagram to thank the management, teammates and the fans for making it possible. He posted the picture below with the inscription: “Thanks Allah. Good start is the way to success. Thanks to all my teammates, my coach and best fans in the world.”
With the international break now over, Elneny will be back to feature for Arsenal against Watford as they hope to keep fighting for either the league title which now seems almost impossible to get, and also a Champions League spot.
