After Arsenal's 4-0 win over Watford on Saturday, Chris Waddle gave an interview in which he stated his doubt over the possibility of the Gunners winning the League.
Alexis Sanchez gave Arsenal the lead as early as the third minute when he hit a rebound before Alex Iwobi doubled it before the break.
Hector Bellerin scored the third while Theo Walcott who came in as a substitute sealed up the victory for Arsene Wenger's men.
That win brings Arsenal a bit close to Leicester who have not played their own game. However, Waddle still feels the North-Londoners have lost their chances of clinching the title this season even if they win all their remaining games.
“Arsenal always have a blip, like the one they have had in the last couple of months, but they always finish the season well,” Waddle told BBC Sport.
“I can see them winning all of their remaining games but they have left themselves too much of a gap to claw back, not so much on Leicester as on Spurs.”
The former England and Tottenham star has spoken the mind of many who believe it is over for Arsenal. Mathematically, Arsenal are still in the race but to be realistic, they are out because it would be difficult to close the gap on consistent Leicester at this point.
