Arsenal are close to sealing their first transfer of the summer, with recent reports claiming that they have finally come to terms with the employers of Samuel Chukwueze.
It is believed that the Gunners have wanted the Nigerian star to join them ever since but their inability to meet the requirements put the deal on hold.
What happened was that Chukwueze's club wanted a part of the transfer fee to be paid at that time but Arsenal were reluctant to do so as they preferred to offer cash only after the player has reached age eighteen.
According to the Daily Star, the two parties, Arsenal and Diamond have finally agreed to do business which means the North-London side will soon welcome Chukwueze to the Emirates.
The youngster is also being watched by Red Bull Salzburg and a host of Bundrsliga club even though the U17 star will rather join his fellow compatriot, Nwakali at Arsenal.
