Mark Bosnich has urged fellow countryman Tom Rogic not to waste any time in agreeing to a deal to join Arsenal should such an opportunity arise.

Bosnic who feels the 23-year-old has what it takes to become an Arsenal player also believes that he will have a lot to learn from the players at the club.

Rogic's performance in Australia's friendly match against England last weekend reignited admiration for him and Bosnic is one of such people who think he will arrive Arsenal with a bang.

The Daily Express quotes Bosnic thus: “You don’t know until you get there (if the move will suit you personally) but the type of football they play suits Rogic.

“Let’s not kid ourselves and be brutally honest, if he went there, the man in front of him is Mesut Ozil. However, what a man to learn from, that would be fantastic.

“It makes it better, you feel 10 foot tall.

“They’re rumours and you have them through your career, good and bad.

They’re just rumours at the moment, they haven’t been verified by either side, but it’s still great news to be linked.”

“In my opinion, he deserves it. He packed himself off abroad and worked very hard.

“It’s always good to watch him. He just needs to make sure he can do what he did for 15, 20 minutes in the first half [against England] and do it for a bit longer, that’s the key.

“I thought they would’ve been impressed, especially in the first-half, but they would’ve marked down: want it done for longer periods.”
Arsenal are said to be preparing an £8million package for the central midfielder who currently plays for Celtic and even though the club's manager is not willing to let him go, a tempting offer may make him have a change of mind after all.
