Rumours linking Henrikh Mkhitaryan to Arsenal look to be true after all as a renowned journalist has confirmed that talks between the two parties are in progress.
According to Emanuele Giulianelli, the midfielder is a top target for Arsene Wenger who is keen on strengthening his squad before the new season begins.
The source revealed this info through an update on his Twitter page. It reads: "Talks Arsenal and Mkhitaryan. Wenger sees him on the right wing. Not sure how advanced they're but there has been contact multiple times."
The 27-year-old who is strongly being linked with a potential move to the Premier League is likely to become Arsenal's second summer signing after the acquisition of Granit Xhaka from Borussia Monchengladbach.
Mkhitaryan who currently plays for German side, Borussia Dortmund bagged a total of 20 goals and 18 assists last season.
