Mahrez wants Arsenal Move

Leicester City winger, Riyad Mahrez is reportedly keen on joining Arsenal despite claims by Claudio Ranieri that he will remain at the club.

The Algerian playmaker has been making the headlines for more than a month now as it is believed that his class has attracted immense interest from the Gunners who are so desperate to build a title contending squad.

Before and during the Euro 2016 tournament, it was his teammate, Jamie Vardy, who was a priority for Arsene Wenger but the Frenchman had to look elsewhere when the striker pledged allegiance to the King Power outfit by penning a new deal.

Mahrez wants to join Arsenal but In an interview, Leicester's manager stated that Mahrez will be going nowhere.

“It is over, the market is closed here. Mahrez wants to stay,” he said.

The agent of Mahrez was present at Arsenal's friendly match against Lens last week but he preferred not to say anything about the links.

Ranieri's statements might just be aimed at warding off clubs who are interested in signing the 2015/16 season's PFA Fans Player of the Year as I do not think he is speaking the player's mind.

    1. Thanks for your observation.
On the issue of wrong spellings, I was able to detect the errors in the names of Mahrez and Vardy. It isn't as if I do not know the correct spellings. It was just a typographical error which I may not have made on a computer keyboard. You know typing on a touchscreen phone could be tiring at times.

If you were so vigilant, you would have noticed that the opening paragraph has the correct spelling of Mahrez which shows that the second misspelling was just a mistake.

The letter T is next to R on the keyboard so I understand why Mahrez was spelt as Mahtez. As for the wrong spelling of Vardy's name, it was caused by the autocorrect feature of my phone. I just noticed that.

      Thanks once again.
