After a recent confirmation that Arsenal have agreed a deal with Deportivo La Coruna for Lucas Perez, the same source has revealed about an hour ago that the grossly talked about defender target is on his way too.
Arsenal have been in a desperate search for a central defender since Per Mertesacker and Gabriel Paulista sustained serious injuries and their major target has been Shkodran Mustafi who is now set to become a Gunner.
According to David Ornstein, a BBC Sport journalist, a £35m deal has been agreed by Arsenal for the Valencia man. The German international will be in London today for his medical pending his official announcement of a 5-year deal.
What this means is that Arsenal will be conducting medicals for two players today - a striker and a centre defender.
