Arsenal have finally completed the signing of Spanish forward, Lucas Perez from Deportivo La Coruna for a fee believed to be around £17.1m.
Apparently, Perez was linked with a move to the London club and this kept a lot of Gunners in suspense as they awaited a confirmation from the club. Anyways, the wait is over as it has officially been announced today on the club's official website that Lucas Perez is now an Arsenal player. It's quite certain that a lot of fans are elated about this.
The forward who was in England last week for a medical flew back to Spain to say GOODBYE to his old team mates and lo and behold here he is in London with a new team. He scored a total of 19 goals in all competitions for Deportivio La Coruna in the 2015/16 season and it is expected that he will fit properly into the Arsenal team.
Arsene Wenger has been scouting for a frontman since the opening of the summer transfer window and he told the Arsenal official website today that he is very pleased to have got one.
