Arsenal defender, Laurent Koscielny has disclosed thatb he is quite happy to partner with Arsenal's new signing.
Bolton defender, Rob Holding was signed by Arsenal this summer but to the disappointment of many Arsenal fans who thought that the 20-year old is not the right signing for Arsenal. However, he has proved many wrong by showing great composure since starting at the back for the club.
Holding partnered with Koscielny in defence last weekend against Premier League champions, Leicester City and the Frenchman commended the effort of the youngster as he revealed that he really enjoyed every bit of the game with Holding.
“I think he has the quality to play for Arsenal,” the French defender said to Arsenal Player.
“If he signed for us it is because he has all the qualities of a defender to play for Arsenal. He is young, but he is at the age where you need the experience and you need to play and focus on your job.
“I think Rob did well [against Leicester]. He is still young but you can see during the game he was focused on his job and technically he is good with the ball and defensively he is strong.
"It was easy for me to play with him on the pitch. For centre backs it is very important to communicate well and we did. It was good for his first game.
“He wants to give all of himself on the pitch but sometimes you need to be calmer, be focused on you position and on the pitch with your team-mates. Maybe I can give him this experience during the season.”
It's quite obvious that the statement made by Laurent Koscielny emphasises on the fact that Holding will be a great fit at Arsenal. We certainly need more positive reviews from the old players concerning the the club new signings. This will go a very long way to boost the morale of the new boys.
