Arsenal new signing Shkodran Mustafi has given the club a boost after announcing that he is now okay after getting injured while on international duty with the German national side.
An injury sustained by the 24-year-old who cost the Gunners a fee of thimillion pounds raised doubts over his availability for the Southampton game on September 10. He has however shaken off the fitness issue and is ready for action.
On his official Twitter page, the former Valencia defender stated that he is prepared to face Norway in a World Cup Qualifier game.
“Focused on the start of the World Cup Qualifiers in Norway on Sunday!” the defender wrote on his official Twitter account alongside a picture of him in training.
If all goes well and he does not suffer a setback, he should be in the Arsenal team to face Southampton in their next Premier League fixture and also feature against Paris Saint Germain in the Champions League.
