To make the adaptation process of two of Arsenal's summer signings, Granit Xhaka and Rob Holding an easy one, Alex Iwobi has taken his time to teach them some street slang.

Having stayed in London from a very tender age, Nigerian-born Iwobi has a lot of street phrases in his storehouse and some of them were what he impacted in the new lads.

'Those crepes are dead' and 'That spice is a mad ting' were some of the street terms learnt by Xhaka and Holding. They were made to read out the slang while Iwobi gave interpretations to them in layman's terms.

'Crepes' means 'trainers', 'dead' equates to 'bad while 'whip' translates to 'car' in London slang. The atmosphere during the tutorial session is an indication that the new recruits are having a nice and happy time in their new habitat.

Xhaka and Holding who joined Arsenal from Borussia Monchengladbach and Bolton respectively have featured in all three games so far this season and would be hoping to be listed in the team that will face Southampton this weekend.
