Wenger Says Loss of This Star is a Big Blow

Arsene Wenger has stated that it would be difficult to ascertain the strength of Paris Saint Germain at the moment being that they lost a top player during the summer transfer window and also got a new coach.

Speaking ahead of his side's Champions League clash with PSG, the Frenchman said that even though no one can say how much effect the loss of Ibrahimovic would have on the team, it is still an obvious fact that the Swedish star would be greatly missed.

“They will be continue to be the dominant team in France but they lost more than a player with Ibrahimovic,” Wenger said in an interview with Arsenal Player.

“He was the leader, the captain, a charismatic carrier of the ambition of the club and it’s always difficult to measure when you lose a player of that stature, how big the damage is.

“At the moment they have also changed managers so they are trying to find their feet at the moment.”

Arsenal will face an 'Ibrahimovicless' Paris Saint Germain on Tuesday in their first game of the 2016/17 Champions League season.
