Arsenal will now have to wait a little longer for the return of one of their stars who was earlier scheduled for availability by mid-October.
Chuba Akpom sustained a back injury in September and according to Jack Pitt-Brooke of the Independent, he will not be in action again this year. Aww!
This will come as a great blow for the player and Arsenal as he is one of the prospects they've got at the club. He was on the score-sheet in three different pre-season games which includes the one against Manchester City.
Just like Alex Iwobi, he would have been a tool in the first team if not for the fitness issue he is still battling with.
His absence will not tell big on the Gunners' performance though. At least they have had a positive record on the injury front recently, so there are a lot of players who can do better than Akpom at the moment.
