Alexis Sanchez has picked the English Premier League as the best and toughest football league. In Europe or the whole world? I can't really say.
The Arsenal forward made this revelation while briefing pressmen at the end of the Bournemouth match.
He first of all acknowledged the mentality in the Gunners side before going on to say that the Premier League is the 'number one'.
"Thank you so much", Alexis said. " I’m so happy for the two goals, but the team’s mentality is strong."
"The Premier League is very difficult but we continue, it’s more difficult for me, for the team. It’s the number one [league with the likes of] Chelsea, City… it’s the Premier League and I like it!"
Sanchez hit the back of the net twice when Arsenal recorded a 3-1 victory over Bournemouth at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday.
Also on the scoresheet was Theo Walcott whose wife gave birth to a new child over the weekend.
