Arsenal have thrown a massive punch at Werder Bremen who took to social media networking site Twitter to mock the London club.
Serge Gnabry, a former Arsenal star was allowed to join Werder Bremen last summer and his exploits so far have not gone unnoticed.
His most recent was the hattrick he bagged on his debut for the German national side who humiliated San Marino with an 8-0 scoreline last week.
This prompted his new club to take to Twitter and indirectly poke fun at Arsenal for letting the youngster leave them.
Arsenal did not act like Jesus Christ did when he was being crucified. The Gunners responded with a more itching troll by posting a picture of a hattrick Ray Parlour scored against them in the UEFA Cup back in 2000. The image went with the caption: “On the subject of hat-tricks, remember this?”
Werder Bremen gave no reply to this, so it would be fair to say that Arsenal had the last laugh at the end of the whole drama.
