Olivier Giroud has debunked speculations linking him with a possible exit from Arsenal as he stated that he has no oubts about his future at the club.

The French international has lost his position since Alexis Sanchez was given a central role. Injury has also made him miss some games. He is however not concerned about him having to fight his way back.

“I do not have any doubts about my future at Arsenal,” the 30-year-old told Telefoot.

“There is always competition for places. There are a lot of attackers at every big club.”

The striker further stated that Sanchez should not pose a threat to his regular involvement in the team since they have different patterns of play.

“At this time, the coach has opted for the solution of Sanchez leading the attack, partly because of my injury,” added the former Montpellier man.

“So I now hope to get more game time of course. Alexis and I are different types of attackers and the coach has to make a decision. But I intend to come back even stronger.”

Giroud returned from injury with a bang when he scored a brace via a substitute appearance in our 4-1 victory over Sunderland back in October.

He has a chance of starting against Manchester United this weekend since Sanchez is likely to sit out of that one.
