Former Arsenal man Serge Gnabry has revealed that when he got a call inviting him to the national team, he initially thought it to be a prank.
The 21-year-old was recently given a call-up in the German national team and on his debut, he bagged a hattrick.
According to him, the call he received from Joachim Low first of all looked like a joke to him but along the line he was able to detect its genuineness.
"The coach called me and I had to consider for a while whether it was real or not," he added.
"There have been a lot of these fake calls on the radio and I just didn't want to be the next victim!"
