Arsenal have been hit with another injury while still waiting for the return of the likes of Santi Cazorla, Hector Bellerin and Lucas Perez.
It is Olivier Giroud who just added his name to the medical room list having injured his hamstring in Sunday's game.
The Frenchman made a substitute appearance in which he provided Alexis an assist to score the last goal of the game.
Not too long after his inclusion in the Bournemouth encounter, the striker seemed to be struggling. Even after the game, he was seen being attended to by some medical team staff.
From the boss' post-match statement, it is obvious that the 30-year-old is a doubt for our EFL Cup clash against Southampton.
Wenger said: ‘The only worry we have is Giroud,’ said Wenger.
‘He looked to touch his hamstring. We have to see how deep the damage is. He told me on his first movement he felt a twinge.’
