Since the beginning of the ongoing season, a lot of we Arsenal fans have been impressed over the few number of injuries we record at average per game as against previous seasons. Even when some key players were out, their absence wasn't largely felt.

The story seems to have changed as the usual monster has set its head in again. We already have a bunch of our stars out and this isn't something nice considering the kind of games we have to play soon.

As we prepare to take on Jose Mourinho's side, let us take a look at the injuries hunting us at the moment.

One player who we have greatly missed is Santi Cazorla. He has been out since our 6-0 demolition of Ludogorets and he will not still be available when we visit Old Trafford this week.

Sources at Arsenal ITK has made it known that the Achilles problem the Spanish midfielder is suffering from has been there for about one year even though it didn't manifest itself earlier. This is why he is taking longer than expected to make a comeback.

As for Hector Bellerin, he has been ruled out for the whole of November. He had to pull out of training with the Spain U21 team and it is believed that the knock he got from a tackle during the North-London derby caused it all. Danny Rose is responsible for this.

Reports from Chile have given us hope on Alexis Sanchez who was injured while training with his national side. This made him miss the World Cup qualifier match with Colombia and now, we learnt he has resumed training. This means that he has a great chance of making the trip to Manchester.

Lucas Perez is back in training. However, it will be too early to feature him on Saturday. Kieran Gibbs should be available for selection after missing out through a shoulder problem.

We have long-term absentees, Per Mertesacker and Danny Welbeck who are not expected back till next year.

Let us hope our stars with fitness issues return quickly and pray we do not get more injuries.
