Before Chile's World Cup qualifier match against Uruguay on Tuesday, Alexis Sanchez made an update on Instagram.

It was an inspirational update attached to a picture of him and some of his fellow compatriots.

This made a lot of supporters worried about his fitness state as they never wanted him to feature and get things worse. Many pleaded with him not to get involved.

Well, he eventually played against the wish of Arsene Wenger who has warned the Chile coach not to force the forward back to action.

Below is the picture he posted with the caption: ‘I love to see other people happy and succeed. Life is a journey, not a race.’

Sanchez scored twice in that 3-1 win over Uruguay, an indication that he is all but set for Manchester United but Wenger may still want to tread softly with the former Barcelona man and it will not be surprising to see him left out of the team for the Old Trafford visit.
