Mesut Ozil was the saviour of Arsenal on Tuesday night when they played against Ludogorets. The Gunners were two goals down but later secured victory with goals from Granit Xhaka, Olivier Giroud and Mesut Ozil.

The last one was the talk of the day because it was a classic one from Ozil. The German did what many players would not have done. Even Aaron Ramsey expected him to shoot so fast but the German refused to.

In an interview, Ramsey revealed what he was saying to Ozil when he was with the ball.

According to the Telegraph, he said: "I was just saying: 'Shoot! Shoot!' so many times and he kept faking.

"I'm sure a lot of players would have shot first time, but not him. He made a couple of their players look a bit silly actually, sliding on the floor.

"It was a great finish and we're just delighted to come away with a win."

It's good Ozil didn't follow Ramsey's counsel. Maybe he wouldn't have scored if he had attempted to lob Vladislav Stoyanov - or even taken the shot earlier.
