Antoine Griezmann has stated that Arsenal are a very great them even though he is settled at his current club.
The French international who is one of the best players in Europe disclosed his love for the Gunners while also saying that Laurent Koscielny has tried on many occasions to lure him to Arsenal.
“For Arsenal, he speaks to me about it often. But I’m good in Madrid. I don’t want to leave. I’m happy here,” Griezmann said via ESPN.
“I have just had a little girl, I play my games, I’m good. Sorry, I’m going to stay. But Arsenal are a good team, they play good football.”
The Atletico Madrid forward also dented hopes of clubs who are making advances towards him by letting it clear that he is not planning to leave as he is currently happy under Diego Simeone.
“I’m so good at Atletico. Honestly, I don’t see myself leaving,” he added. “People often talk to me about England too, but I’m good here,” he added.
“And also, going from Atletico to Real must be difficult. I don’t necessarily have the desire to try, nor to ask those who have already done it. No, I’m not thinking about it.”
