Tottenham star Eric Dier is believed to have sparked up interest from a number of top European clubs among which we have Arsenal.
The midfielder has dropped down the pecking order under Pochettino, the more reason there are reports linking him with a move away from Spurs.
According to a football newspaper, The Times, Arsenal are in the race to secure the services of Dier as their counterparts Bayern Munich, Manchester United and Chelsea are also making advances.
Bookmakers Ladbrokes however placed Arsenal in a weak position on the graph, so it looks like the Gunners are not favourites for this one.
That does not then mean that they have no chances at all. We have seen cases in the past where the underdogs in a deal end up getting through with it and this one could be a replica of such.
One area where I can agree he is unlikely to sign for Arsenal is in the area of rivalry. The yids and the Gunners have not been good neighbours all along and I see no reason why they will want to strengthen their bitter rivals.
Anything can still happen though. Like DJ Xclusive will say: "This is football, anything can happen."
