Arsene Wenger has given an update on the current state of his squad as Arsenal prepare to take on Stoke City in the Premier League this Saturday.

The Frenchman provided injury news on Santi Cazorla, Hector Bellerin, Danny Welbeck and Per Mertesacker on Thursday.

He revealed that there were no injuries recorded from the FC Basel game while also stating that Bellerin will undergo a test soon. From his speech, the Spaniard is likely to feature for us this weekend.

He went on to say that long term absentees Welbeck and Mertesacker are weeks away. They are progressing well with their recovery process and should return to the team either by the end of December or early January 2017.

As for Cazorla who recently underwent a surgery, there is no definite return date for him at the moment. He will be closely monitored to see how fast he will recover.

From the boss' latest update, we are about welcoming back Bellerin whose services have been greatly missed. His return will be a big boost for us as we head towards the very busy festive period.
