In a chat with newspaper journalists ahead of our Boxing Day fixture against West Bromwich Albion, Arsene Wenger answered questions regarding his future at Arsenal.
The 67-year-old's silence over his contract situation at the club has kept many wondering whether he is planning to stay beyond the end of the current season or not.
Well, he has asked us to worry less and keep giving full support to the team as he also strives to get the best results. He is not in a hurry to sign a new deal.
The Frenchman when asked if our poor form recently will have a role to play in making a decision for his future, he said:
"No. I always said that I will judge where I stand in spring and make my decisions then. And the club is free as well.
"It’s not because I am here a long time that I have any rights. We are both on the same boat.
I know some of you right now are like: "Let this man just leave us. He has tried. He should go and rest." Lol! I know how you feel man. Things can only get better.
