An update has been given by the manager as regards injuries to Arsenal players. Arsene Wenger provided info on the fitness level of Theo Walcott and Kieran Gibbs.
Walcott was unable to make the squad for the Boxing Day fixture and Le boss at his post-match press conference said it was as a result of a knee problem.
Wenger further stated that it is something minor even though he gave no specific return date for the English international.
Gibbs was forced off the pitch just 20 minutes to the end of the West Brom clash. The 27-year-old had a clash of knees and will be accessed to see how serious it is.
From the look of things, it shouldn't keep him out or too long. I'll feel it will end up being something similar to that of Theo.
We hope the duo return stronger to aid our push for the Premier League title which looks almost out of our sight. May the God of Soccer be with us.
