Despite being classed among the big teams in Europe, there is still this popular belief that Arsenal lack a leader who can keep them in motion for glory.
This missing piece from their squad is one of the factors that have hindered them from laying their hands on the Premier League title since the 2003/04 season.
Arsene Wenger nonetheless says he has a leader in Alexis Sanchez who has now added one more year to his earthly reign today.
“He is comparable to Luis Suarez a bit in style.
“Sanchez surprises you a little bit because of his size. You do not expect such a dynamic, strong winning attitude. He is a leader on the football pitch because he is not scared of anybody. That is leadership.”
