Having said that, it's not surprising that the German international has been ranked second on the Premier League's assist table after 100 games.
Only Eric Cantona has more assists than Ozil after 100 games in the English Premier League's history.
Before our match against West Bromwich Albion, Opta made a tweet to reveal the stat but at that time, Ozil still had 35 assists. He added one more to make it 36 in the Boxing Day fixture.
