What caused a feud between Lucas Perez and Gabriel Paulista after the West Bromwich Albion game has finally shown itself.
The duo were in a harsh confrontation which led to an exchange of words in the aftermath of our 1-0 victory against the baggies on Boxing Day.
Arsene Wenger when asked about the situation couldn't help matters much as he claimed he did not see the incident but right now, we have come to see why that occured.

From the video, we could see how Perez poorly tracked back when the visitors were launching an attack in the 93rd minute. This left Hector Bellerin in a two versus one situation but luckily for Arsenal, the cross delivered by Allan Nyom wasn't an accurate one.
As the cross moved across everyone's head, Gabriel could be seen making a gesture to Perez- probably he was trying to let him know that his actions could have cost the team.
