Jack Wilshere's impressive performance with Bournemouth so far has made Arsenal more than willing to offer him a new deal.

However, it has been predicted by a club commentator that he will only extend his stay at the Emirates under one condition - one so vital to career.

It isn't even the financial rewards for now. What the English international will demand is regular first team play time.  Once the manager can guarantee that, he will consider offers.

Currently on loan at Bournemouth, Wilshere has been given the opportunity to feature in as many games as he is fit to play in and as a result, he might not want to leave that for the bench at Arsenal.

Adrian Clarke said: "He will want some assurances form Arsene Wenger that he will be a starter. He can't be a sub, he's at an age where he has to play."

"I think Arsenal will offer him a new contract, I hope they do."

Clarke also expressed shock over Wilshere's fitness on his loan spell with the Cherries. He seems to have overcome the injury woes that plagued his career in the past years.

"It is unbelievable. I don't know, something is suiting him."
