The news that Per Mertesacker has signed a one year contract extension at Arsenal has sparked reactions from fans.
Arsene Wenger confirmed during his press conference that the club captain has agreed a deal that will keep him at the Emirates for an additional year.
The German international has been out since pre-season and has not featured in any game for the club ever since.
