Sky Sports has revealed that Arsenal have agreed a deal which will see Carl Jenkinson make a switch to Crystal Palace.
Sam Allardyce also confirmed this while making it known that there are still some obstacles on his way.
Prior to his side's FA Cup replay with Bolton Wanderers, Allardyces stated that negotiations between Palace and Arsenal have been done and dusted but said that the hindrance is coming from the player's camp.
"I think that's [down to] negotiations between the chairman and the player's agent," he said at a news conference ahead of Palace's FA Cup third-round replay with Bolton Wanderers.
"While we appear to have an agreement with Arsenal, that agreement with the player hasn't reached a conclusion, so that's hanging in the balance, as we say.Crystal Palace are still pushing on with their interest and we expect them to succeed since the club have sealed an agreement.
Jenkinson will reunite with Allardyce who he once served under while on loan at West Ham United if the move goes through.
