Danny Welbeck seems to have picked up so fast as Arsene Wenger claims he is fit and looks extremely sharp.
The English international has been sidelined with a knee injury for seven months and one would expect that he will find it though getting back to full fitness but with what the boss has revealed, the reverse is the case.
Welbeck's performance since returning to full training last week has caught the attention of Wenger who is confident he will return to the pitch stronger.
In fact, the Frenchman is not yet sure whether he will involve him in any of the youth team games since he doesn't look match rusty from his displays in training so far.
"He's fit, he's sharp," Wenger said. "Will I involve him in the short-term or not, or will I play him first in a game with the under-23s? I have not decided yet, but in training he looks quite good."
From the look of things, Welbeck might make a return to first team football by the time Arsenal visit Preston North End to begin their FA Cup campaign on Saturday, 7th January, 2017.
