Five previously sidelined Arsenal stars showed up at London Colney today as the first team trained in the sunny weather.
The return of Kieran Gibbs, Hector Bellerin and Francis Coquelin is a major boost for Arsenal who will lock horns with Burnley on Sunday.
Bellerin missed out of the Preston North End game and was also unavailable when a 4-0 win was recorded against Swansea City over the weekend. He was sidelined after suffering an injury in training prior to our FA Cup third round fixture.
Gibbs is making progress with his ankle problem while Coquelin's hamstring injury sustained in the dramatic draw at Bournemouth seems to have vanished.
Also present were Theo Walcott and Per Mertesacker who have been dealing with calf and knee fitness issues respectively.
It is good to see them back even though it is not yet known if they will be included in the squad to face the Clarets at the Emirates on Sunday.
