Real Madrid have offered Karim Benzema to Arsenal, according to unconfirmed reports from some sources.

The Frenchman has fallen out of favour with the Los Blancos who now see him as surplus to requirements.

Despite his tally of 12 goals in 26 appearances, the Spanish giants are still not impressed and yhis is as a result of his disappearance from big games.

It is believed that club president Florentino Perez has grown sick of his unstable performance and wants him out as soon as possible, so he has made contact with Arsenal.

Arsene Wenger has wanted his fellow compatriot for a long time but considering the options he has got at the moment, I doubt if he will be willing to pull a deal through.

Conclusions will be made over Benzema's future when Madrid decide on whether to use Cristiano Ronaldo as a top striker or not.
