Thierry Henry feels Alexis Sanchez could one day make a transfer to Bayern Munich to join a friend of his.
The Chilean international is still being monitored to ensure he signs a new deal and extend his stay at Arsenal beyond 2018 when his current contract will expire.
No agreement has been reached so far as we were made to know that both parties couldn't reach terms during the opening stages of negotiation.
This has made a host of clubs like Juventus, Paris Saint Germain, Bayern Munich and even the big money spenders of the Chinese Super League show their willingness to acquire him.
In an interview with Sky Sports, Henry was asked if he thinks the 28-year-old will commit his future to the club and this was his reply.
‘I want him to sign, everybody wants him to sign.
‘That’s a tricky one for the club. That’s why you have guys there to be able to deal with that.
‘But, as an Arsenal fan, I want Alexis Sanchez to stay for life because he is the future of the club. Same with Mesut Ozil.’
‘If he ever leaves then you would think the likes of Bayern are going to come, Paris Saint-Germain,’ Henry added.
‘Maybe joining his friend Vidal at Bayern Munich so we’ll see. But stay… don’t listen to anyone, find a way, stay!’
