The latest injury news have been revealed by Arsene Wenger as Arsenal prepare to face Sutton United in the FA Cup on Monday night.
The Gunners will be looking to grab a win and progress to the quarter-final in order to partially quench the heartbreak they got from the Bayern Munich Champions League round of 16 defeat on Wednesday night.
Arsenal lost Laurent Koscielny early in the second half of the Bayern Munich 5-1 loss and is set to be out for some time.
As at press time on Friday, there was no update concerning the nature of the injury as the boss claimed scans will take place later today.
The Frenchman also gave a hint on the team to be fielded on that day. There is a possibility that we will see some of the youngsters like Jeff Reine-Adelaide and Ainsley Maitland-Niles who impressed greatly in the previous round against Southampton. 5-0 was the final score on that day.
“It will be a Normal team, I gave a chance to [some young players] because they deserve to play, it’s a good opportunity to show they can do well.
“One or two might have an opportunity to show that they can play every single game now.”
